Man with clenched fist.

The purpose of the Domestic Violence Accountability Program (DVAP) is an intense program used in court ordered cases. Since not everyone responds to treatment the same way, the program uses a multifaceted approach designed to address personal needs. DVAP is a one year program, meeting one day a week for two hours in a group format. After twenty six weeks, the program participant meets with the counselor one hour per month for six months.

The purpose of the Domestic Violence – Abuse program is to reduce anger, develop self-soothing techniques, healthy communication, and conflict resolution. Our goal is to give clients the tools they need to improve relationship skills and develop healthy relationships.
